Question about Waring WMK300 Professional Belgian Waffle Maker

Turning 180 degrees

Dear Sirs: I just got my WMK300 Professional Belgian Waffle Maker. I used it last night. I had some problems turning it 180 degrees. It seems to catch and I would have to jiggle it to get it completely turned. Can you suggest a fix for this or should I take it back to the store?

The first few time it may do this. Make sure the upper pin is inserted into the lower portion of the handle before attempting to turn the unit.

Otherwise, get a replacement because you may damage it if you force it.

If it is out of warranty, you will need to ask for parts from a service center.
No one is offering broken, used or as-is WMK300 on ebay. Maybe you should try to sell your waffle maker on ebay as parts. Somebody must need the circuit board, for example.

Waffle maker won't heat

There is a thermal fuse inside the bottom half of the unit, enclosed in a white insulating sleeve. A replacement can be found on Amazon.com at the following URL:

Just spray the grids before each use with something like Pam, or put a thin coat of oil on them. I found it's better to spray before each waffle so it won't stick.
