Transfer playlist from Itunes to Ipod Nano

Open iTunes and plug in your iPod. On the left sidebar there should be your iPod name (If you can't find the sidebar, go to iTunes menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar), go to your iTunes playlist and drag the songs you want to your iPod. For all of the songs, go to your iPod music library, even if you don't have songs, and on the bottom there should be a blue-ish bar. There might be a box saying "Autofill from iTunes library" click that ONLY if you want ALL songs from your iTunes to your iPod.
If you want to know how to put video or DVD movie onto iPod, I think this step by step guide would help you.

How to restore my ipod nano 5 using itunes

To restore iPhone/iPad/iPod from iTunes backup, you should connect your iOS device (all types of iPhone/iPad/iPod are applicable, now take the iPhone as an example) with the computer which you have ever synced. Then you have two methods to enter the recovery window - "Restore from Back up".
Method 1 Click "File" menu on the menu bar and select Devices > Restore from Back up

Method 2 Click the "Devices" button on the left sidebar, then your connected device will be shown, and then click your device to show the Summary tab, and select Backups > This computer > Restore Backup...

After finishing either one of the two methods above, you will see a popped-up window - "Restore from Back up" and all the iTunes backups of different iOS devices you have ever done via iTunes will be listed in the drop-down menu. Then choose a backup of your iPhone to restore iPhone from iTunes backup.
itunes-restore-from-backup-window.jpgNote: The iPhone recovery in this way will restore the total file in the previous iTunes backup altogether, thus your current data on your iPhone will be deleted and replaced by the iTunes backup, which means you have lost all your current iPhone data.

How do i unlock my 2nd generation apple ipod w/ my laptop?

Thank your for contacting FixYa Support.

In order to effectively unlock your iPod, you will have to perform these actions:
1. Restore your iPod. Warning: The restore process cannot be undone. All of your songs and files will be deleted. Always make a backup of your important data. 2. Connect your iPod to the computer that you want to be the primary computer. 3. Open iTunes and synchronize.

By synchronizing your iPod Nano with iTunes, iTunes will restore your iPod Nano with data from the last time you synced your iPod.

This is the only way to effectively unlock your iPod Nano.

I hope this information proves helpful for you.

How to restore an iPod

If you have a backup before, go onto iTunes, right click on your device on the left-hand side bar, and their should be an option 'Restore From Backup', or something similar, click that and it'll restore your iPod to a previous backup.

iPod Data Recovery software can help you, it enables you preview and recover all contents from the iTunes' backup file, including your iPod photos, videos, notes, calendar and contacts.

Nano i pod has locked silver ipod nano it is a ipod nano 4gb

Connect your iPod to the primary computer you use it with (the first one iPod synced with), and open iTunes. When you disconnect iPod from the computer, it will no longer be locked. If you can't unlock iPod using either [the code or connecting it to the computer you use to manage its songs]. . . you can restore your iPod to factory settings using iPod Updater. Please note that this will erase all data on your iPod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to your iPod. If you want to change the primary computer that your iPod is associated with, do this: 1. Restore your iPod. Warning: The restore process cannot be undone. All of your songs and files will be deleted. Always make a backup of your important data. 2. Connect your iPod to the computer that you want to be the primary computer. 3. Open iTunes and synchronize. Apple also notes that company "representatives cannot unlock an iPod if you forget your combination. If you can't unlock your iPod and you don't have access to the primary computer, your only option is to restore the iPod, which will erase all music and data."
