How do you fix the headphone jack, and what is the specific replacement jack to be used? My sandisk sansa e200's jack seems to be broken since there's no sound despite having good earphones.

The first thing to try is to see if the volume somehow managed to get set on zero.

Secondly try it another pair of headphones
.
The jack should be a 3.5mm stereo. When you buy the replacement take your player and see it fits.
You will need a soldering iron to fit the new jack.
Soldering experience is useful here. Mini jacks are fiddly.
Replacing the jack is not a guaranteed fix.
Remember to put the jack cover on the wire before you start soldering.

I wish you success, there is some satisfaction to not having to buy a new set of headphones but it's always a last resort.

Sound to one earbud only.

The player should be replaced - the headphone jack or the headphone controller on the circuit are damaged, and these are nt orderable parts.

There are videos on YouTube which show how to replace headphone jack on a Sansa, but they are not usually successful. May be replacement time.

How do i get my sansa e250 to conncet to my tv

Plug a 1-to-2 audio jack from the headphone jack of the Sansa to two audio inputs (red and white) of the TV. Change your TV's source channel to the appropriate input (AV1, AV2, Video 1, Video 2, etc). Find the song on your Sansa and press play. you may have to adjust the volume on the Sansa AND on your TV.

Music not coming from both earplugs.

Buy another- seriously. You can view this video if you want to try to replace the headphone jack, but you will probably cause more damage in the process:

Sansa E250 Left Earphone Issue

I have the same problem and read on other forums that it was because of a MusicEQ glitch and that if you swtched it to a non-Normal mode and then back to Normal, the problem would fix itself. This didn't work for me, but maybe it will for you.

(Just got off the phone with Sandisk Tech Support and they basically told me to update to the latest firmware, but that didn't work either so they said that they didn't know what else to tell me and let me go. Not exactly helpful.)

Help with sansa e250

Call Sandisk and tell them about your problem. I had the same exact problem. The headphone jack inside is loose. Talk to Sandisk and don't worry about the box, the customer is always right. But after they send you a new sansa e250, sell it on ebay and buy a durable mp3 player like the iriver t10 series. My old iriver dropped on the floor plenty of times and it's still working after 3 years.
