You haven't specified the browser you are using. (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, etc.)

Normally you have to go into settings and you can edit the default homepage. (Sometimes under 'Start-Up' settings)

I want to make google my home page.what must i do?

open up your browser. go to edit then preferences in firefox then general. In home page type www.google.com.au or leave out .au . Internet Explorer is the same, just look under internet option's. Don't matter if it is windows or linux, it is all the same. Make sure you have menu bar to do this. To check.Right click on top of browser. A dropdown will display menue bar, navigation toolbar etc. Tick the menu bar option. On top of browser you will see File Edit View History Bookmarks Tools Help . If you have it sorted out. Then you can start from top.

How to Block A Website in All Web Browsers

This action will require you to edit your Host file. Your host file is a computer file used to store information on where to find a node on a computer network. For more a more detailed description. Check out this link Host File Description Link
In Windows XP
1. Click Start->All Programs->Accessories->Command Prompt.
2. Click Command Prompt This will open a DOS command window.
3. Type: notepad C:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc/hosts
4. Locate the line 127.0.0.1 localhost
5. To block the website google.com for example, just add this text under 127.0.0.1 localhost:

127.0.0.1 google.com
127.0.0.1 www.google.com
You can add as many sites any site, However you will need to prefix it with "127.0.0.1".

6. Save the file

How can i restore my internet explorer to the original files? Like everything? I had downloaded an addon for IE months ago and ever since it has never worked. I want to restore the IE to original files. I...

A possible solution is to disable/remove the add-on. In IE8 click the tools menu. Select manage add-on.
In the window that opens look for a drop-down list headed with Show.
The selections available are
  1. All add-ons.
  2. Currently loaded add-ons
  3. Run without permission
  4. Downloaded controls
Select All add-ons to display all of them. Find the culprit, higlight it and press the button (at the bottom) disable.
Check also the InPrivate filtering.

You can also Click the Tools Menu>>Internet option >>Advanced Tab. (see picture)

Click the Reset Advanced setting button and the Reset button below.
Restart the browser.
A suggestion: install firefox. If you have a problem with one browser you can use the other and not get stuck.

Connected but no access in internet

By connected do you mean ie local area connection says connected but when you try
to open any page in your browser it wont load.
Right click on local area connection icon in taskbar (right hand corner) select status
you should see packet activity with a steady stream on sent and recieved.
At the top you will see a support tab click this and you will see details of your IP which
should start with 192.168.?? etc click the repair tab this could fix it, also make sure IP does not
start 169.??? etc.
Hope this helps if not let me know.

About blank

about:blank is a cheater way of opening a blank homepage when you open up a web browser. Apparently your web browser is set to open up a blank page. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. I even use that on occasion as I normally do not want to go to a specific website every time I open up a browser window. You can change this at any time by changing the Internet Options (for IE) or using Tools -> Options in other web browsers.

By the way, some web browsers support other about: pages as well including configuration options in Firefox using about:config.
