Sony CD has a bubble in the silver cover which is preventing the JPEG photos from opening. The bubble has flaked. Is there any way to fix the CD or retrieve the photos? Please respond ASAP as customer is wanting prints from this CD. Sincerely, Dennis Massingill

I'm afraid there isn't much hope of recovery of the data that was located on the cd where the silver flaked off. That reflective later, and underlying dye is actually where the data is stored. The plastic (polycarbonate) part of the cd holds no information.
