My scroll wheel isn't working correctly, I need to scroll it a lot before it even moves once. It was fine before I did a reset on my sk and now its messed up....any ideas how to fix it? I tryed another reset and no go. Also does anyone know if its like a old mouse where the gunk needs cleaned out of it or something? If that's the case how do you open it?
I don't know if you're still reading this post here, but if you are, your scroll wheel can be replaced - they do get worn out and stop working over time. I happen to have some because I repair sidekick 2s, so contact me if you would like to discuss it... firstname.lastname@example.org

You have to download them from the download catalog. Once you do that, then you just click on the phone icon, open up the settings and click on general and go down until you see the incoming call ringtone, click it and scroll down the import, and select the song you want.
If you are wondering if there is a way to add in your own custom made ringtone to use, then as of now there isn't.
Mine did that too.... I just left it over night and then it took the charge the next day.
Now I have a different problem... the phone says it is charging... the battery meter flashes 1, 2 and 3 bars like it is taking a charge but it's not... now it's dead and when I plug it in the red and green phone lights on the top and bottom of the scroll wheel flash really fast but no charging ??? HELP....
Quite simple, and t-mobile was no help: This solution worked for me, YMMV. Hit the menu key > System settings. Within system settings, press menu, shift, and d key. This will open up the diagnostics program. Run all of the checked options. When that completes, return to the diagnostics program again, and select only "Battery disconnect." I left the phone in this state overnight, and the camera worked the next morning. Hopefully this is helpful.
