I see no reason why you cant put the crock in the oven. I recommend you keep the temperature under 375 degrees or so.

I have a rival casserole crockpot model number,3050 slowcooker, 260watts, I was wondering if I can use the stoneware part in my gas oven? Thank you vicki

Yes, you can use the stoneware in your gas oven. I am using mine right now in my Convection Oven baking at 400 degrees. I use mine quite often in the oven for baked beaks, then transfer to my Crockpot.

Can this stoneware crock pot be used in the oven?

Hi,
Yes there is no problem using a crock from a slow cooker in the oven...
It iwll be just fine...the only thing to remember is that parts of the lid may not fair too well so cover it with foil or something that will stand the heat of the oven...

Had a large crockpot, outside got reeeeely hot so I junked it but kept the liner (has a plastic lid). Wondering if I can use the liner in an oven, and/or range top (gas or electric). Anyone know? Bottom...

Problem solved 1/25/10: went to www.crock-pot.com/customerservice and started reading. Stoneware liners are usable in ovens and microwaves (up to 400 deg), and range tops. It didn't say to, but I plan to put a wire grid (as used for some double-boilers) to avoid direct heat.

I need a lid for a Rival 5 qt. crock pot (oblong)

Our stoneware broke, and so we kept the base and lid hoping to replace it. Unfortunately it is discontinued. For the cost of shipping and a couple of bucks it's yours.

Rival Crock Pot LIner replacement

I have a round, forest green stoneware liner for a Rival crock pot. The liner has no divider. The liner has no chips or cracks. Sorry but I cannot remember to which model number this stoneware liner fit; but I can tell you that the Rival crock pot I had was either a 5 to 6 quart and it fit a plastic lid.

Rival crock pot question

Most of the reviews for this product state that the lid is a bad fit. It is as though they had leftover lids from another model and just used them in this one. A replacement lid will be the same unless you have one custom made...but for that price you'd just get a new crock pot. You will lose a lot of moisture and some foods will be a little dried out after slow cooking all day and losing steam. You can either cover the cracks as best you can when you set it to cook, or return it and buy a better model. You'll find this problem on Rival's 6 quart crock pot as well. Read the reviews before you make your next purchase.
