Question about Canon CP-1460D Calculator
I just got my new CP1460D and I was able to set the date. However, I noticed the next day the date is still set for the previous day. I followed the instructions that came with the calculator, however, it will not allow me to change the date to the current date. I thought it would do it automatically, but it seems that it hasn't. Is there any advice on how to redo it or reset it?

ok, have your calculator set on "on" press the "time/clock" button once, when date appears on calculator press the "M+=" and hold until first number on date flashes, enter the date you want, when done switch your calculator from "on" to "print". date should be saved. do the same for time.

To set date:
1. Press the calendar/clock button (display should show date)
2. Press and hold the 'time set' button for 3 seconds (first digit of the date should flash)
3. Use the numeric keys to enter date using mmddyyyy format
4. Press 'time set' button
To set time:
1. Press the calendar/clock button twice (display should show time)
2. Press and hold the 'time set' button for 3 seconds (first digit of the time should flash)
3. Use the numeric keys to enter time using hhmm format, press 'AM/PM' button as needed
4. Press 'time set' button
The '12/24' button changes between 12 hour and 24 hour format for time.
The 'format' button changes the date format from mmddyyyy to ddmmyyyy or yyyymmdd.

OK, I bought one over the weekend just for chuckles. I figured it out.
On the top of the calculator there is a key that shows a little clock. Punch it once and the date appears...like 01-01-2000 or somesuch. Press it again and the time shows up..
Hold the time set key (=) down for a second until the first zero starts to flash. All you have to do is start punching in the time. When you are done press the time set key again. Voila!
Punch the key with the little clock again and the date shows up. Hold down the time set key for a second like explained above until it starts flashing. Enter the date with the key pad numbers. Done!
I couldn't figure this out either till I looked above each key (didn't notice what it said). Anyway, look real close.
Hope it works out for all and everyone finds this solution...
