Question about Philips 32PW6006 32" TV

2 Answers

Error codes Hi I have the 32inch widescreen model 32pw6006/25. The set keeps switching itself off into standby mode. By doing a bit of research on the internet I have managed to enter the service mode and the set is coming up with the error code of 5 and 11. I also managed to get a copy of the service manual and these error codes are as follows: 5 = device- TDA95xx, error description - POR 3V3 / +8v protection 11 = device - TDA6107/8, error description - current black loop protection I have no idea how to go about fixing these. Any help would be great!! Thanks

To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. well first of all if anything happens when you push the button then the button works! I think you should leave this one to a professional technician. There is a circuit problem that will require advanced knowledge.

I have a Funai HDR-B2735 dvd/video cassette recorder with HDD. When turning the machine on, it automatically switches off with the screen displaying the message "System error 02/56" before going...

Exact same symptom as above, little flashing "W" on standby, error code 02-56 on switching the unit on, promptly turns itself off. It would help no end if Funai would publish a little bit more info about these error codes on their site, or have a forum somewhere. Gona try a factory reset and a replacement HDD, dont know if i could replace it with a new one or not. any ideas or experience with these errors would be greatly appreciated!

Standby-7 blink code

First,
If you have the back off, make sure the lamp safety switch is engauged ( you might not have a model that you don't need to do this with). If your set powers up normally make sure the your fans are running. If anyone of them should lag your set will shut down.
Second: How many hour do you think you have on your lamp? Some sets require the lamp hrs to be reset. It's sad because your your lamp is still operating. Let me know what you come up with.

problem is build up on the cathodes and when the reach maximum temperature they cause a short between heater and cathodes .also possible g2 and cathodes short circuit. One way is to separate the heater circuit H1,H2 and use a transformer or build a coil on the line output transformer (3 times not shore read up for it) and u will get 6v for the heater.Read this http://www.penders.cwc.net/otcolour.html it will help even if is for other problems. Good luck
