SOURCE: motor not pushing boat after two thousand rpm's

The prop is cavitating. The outdrive is not trimed under enough or the prop is damaged (providing it is the correct prop.)

I have a 1984 yamaha enticer that has a seized motor... Yes i know if u dump oil down into the piston thatll work but my problem is that the one piston is down so when i pour oil in it just leaks out how...

Hi, the only way you can move that piston while it sits in the cylinder is to find the main crank shaft, (located just above the oil pan). Fit a strong wrench to the bolt that attaches the pully to the crank, then, slide a length of steel pipe over the wrench for leverage. Start to rock the crank back and forth slightly but forcefully. Any oil that you poured will have seeped around the piston by now. make sure the other pistons are well oiled and give it a try. Good luck.

2005 Mercury 50hp 2-stroke outboard motor very sluggish when accelerating, stalled twice when trying to exceed 50% throttle capacity. Last time I used my boat was about two months ago, so I don't think bad...

The carberator is gravity fed and there is propbably gunk in it, when you give it more throttle, it needs more gas but can't get it. Then a build up of gas in the float bowl occurs and nothing works right. It has happened to me and its aggravating, do a complete rebuild on the carb or just replace it and you will be happier quicker.

Hope this helps, Coachtheune

2008 Yamaha vx deluxe will only run about 30 mph

if the motor is reaching full revs look at the jet assemby for fouling or prop damage. If it is not reaching full revs get authorised mechanic to fix it, it will be cheaper in the long run.

Yamaha ar 230 engine middle lightcome on in on both tach and shut

With the newer yamaha jet boats your route of easiest resistance is gonna be to take the boat to a Yam dealer so they can put a diagnostic machine on it. Alot of sensor problems can be solved much easier and cheaper after running the diagnostic and pinpointing exactly what the issue is. The lights on the dash are for high temp and low oil. If you checked the water temp and it seemed ok, check your oil levels.
