Question about GE Monogram ZEU36 Electric Cooktop
When my 30KW plant powers my home during a power outage, the only appliance that does not work is my GE ZEU36 cooktop. Its led lights kind of create a cascading light show and turn off. This occurs continuously while the plant is on. During this time, non of the buttons on the cooktop work. Once the power returns and plant shuts-down, everything returns to normal. What is the meaning of the lights or what could be the problem?
50Hz or 60Hz alternator?
circuit board on the stove may be frequency locked
