Question about Panasonic SC-AK75 Shelf System

Panasonic SA AK75 stereo system with 50+1 cd changer

The problem is that it can not find a CD .When I ask it to play the single (the first on the left) it trys to find it somewhere in the middle .I think that it is out of sync and needs to reset.
I think my problem is I need a digram and set of instructions to do this (if this is the problem)

problem with the machine, it's either not reading the disk which would be a laser or the transverse motor or the mechanism isnt loading fully which could be a belt or a bad gear.
