I think i may have deleted mcaffee,now i can't load things and it takes too log. i only have 192mb on disk i was trying to make room,but screwed up!

DELETE EVERYTHING FORM MCAFFE(including registry entries) and reinstall it.

How can i log in my Delloptiplex 760 computer,when its auto logging off


If running XP

A log-on loop on your Windows XP computer is a difficult situation where the computer never completes its boot cycle, restarting intermittently ad nauseam.


This issue indicates a major problem with the boot functionality of your XP system.

Restore the computer to working order by utilizing the repair and restoration utility on your XP system disk.

Insert the XP disk into the computer.


Restart the computer.

Press any key when prompted to boot from the disk.

Press "Enter" at the first screen and "F8" at the license terms.


Highlight the drive containing XP and press "R," repairing the operating system boot files and removing the log-on loop.

Right-click the "Start" button on the bottom left of your screen.


Select "Explore" from the menu that appears.


Double-click "Programs" from the list on the left side of the window that pops up.


Double-click "Startup."


Select all the files inside the "Startup" folder by dragging a box over them.


Right-click anywhere on the selected files.


Select "Delete" to delete those files.


Note that deleting the programs from the "Startup" folder does not delete them from your computer.


All this does is make it so that these programs no longer start as your computer is starting so that any error in the running of the programs doesn't interfere with logging in to your account.

Can not delete it is used by another program close any program that might be using the file an try again


Reboot the computer and as soon as you get back into windows try deleting the file again. If you get the same message then go into MSCONFIG (type it in the search box) into the startup tab. Disable all the programs and reboot the computer. Try deleting the file again. If you still can't delete it then it may be a system file your trying to delete and those I wouldn't mess with because it could screw up windows.
Last thing to try would be to boot up your computer in safe mode. Since it doesn't load much into memory you should be able to delete your file that way for sure.

Dell pc to slow


Yes, you can get (any) help. You must run a Registry Cleaner. It will clean your Windows registry which seems to be having irrelevant entries. You can down load one free from www.download.com or you can search google for free registry cleaners. I had the same problem and my laptop used to take over 20 mins to boot. I cleaned it with one RC and now it gallops like a new laptop. I do not think that you have any hardware problem.

I have mainboard Amptron ZX-I945LM4,but i can't install any varsions of windows xp.i try change settings in bios,jumpers,but still same.tahnkl you for help


try to delete all of your partitions.
Then boot from cd the bootable setup disk of windows xp.
try a working setup disk.

1. if you still cant install windows xp,try to make a new partition and add all the contents of the setup disk into that partition. boot from cd and you will be able to go to setup screen.

Very slow to log on and log off


Deleting files are generally not a good idea as many programs may utilize files located in various directories. Going into C:\Program Files\<folder> and deleting information this way can be detrimental to your PC.

There is a way to see and select/deselect startup programs from running. To see this list, go to Start -> Run (or use the Windows Key + r) and type msconfig. Click on the "Startup" tab and you'll see a list of programs. The important thing to note is not to simply go through this list and uncheck everything.

Using Google, you can search for the "Startup Item" named to find out exactly what it is. You also may be able to discern what application it belongs to by expanding the "Command" column. This will let you see the location of that statup item.

In general, things like instant message programs, Adobe products, camera products, are not needed. Things such as Nvidia and Realtek/SoundMax are related to video/sound items and would be something you want to keep checked.

Try unchecking things that don't need to be running at start up. Then see if your PC performance improves.

My Laptop suddenly takes 15 minutes to turn on from the loading screening (where it says acer after its turned on and the blue loading bar is going) and simple tasks are now slower, such as the media...


The best thing you can do is add more RAM. As more programs and documents are loaded the more RAM it needs. However, there are also a couple of other things you can try first. This will clean up all the old /tmp files that are not needed and also fix your hard drive so all the data is together and not spread out.
click on start>programs>accessories>system tools>disk cleanup. Run this first to get rid of the junk files that are left on your computer by websites
After the disk cleanup go back to the same location and run Defrag.
Each time you delete a file it leaves a blank space on the hard drive. after a while it takes longer to find files. The defrag will push all the data together in a row so it is faster to find.

Is there much free disk space left?. It is possible that the hard disk has become too full and the game does not have any room to "breath"
