Question about HP Business InkJet 2800 Printer
We have a printer and it is used to print high quality photo prints such as advertisments. But the printout has light shaded bars and it is very obvious as the photo picture on the screen is very perfect.
The printer is new and about 2 months old, since the HP warrenty guys are headache hence trying to find real problem so as to convince the guys.
You may have had a cartridge leak especially if you have used remanufactured cartridges. It happend to me. I had to take it all apart starting with the screws underneath. You will need an allen wrench. If your lucky you might be able to avoid taking it apart. wipe down all electrical connectors with alcohol swabbed fabric and blow it out with compressed air. Use only an electronic safe cloth soaked in alcohol or electronic cleaner.
I wiped down everything, then used a compressed air can and blew it all out. After putting it all back together and aligning/cleaning the printheads it worked fine again.
