Question about Xerox Phaser 8400 Laser Printer
Printer switches on but does nothing other than the above mentioned error.
That is the print head tilt. 1 of two things is the normal cause.
There is a print head block on the lower left side of th frame about 2/3rd of the way back and near the bottom of the frame. It gets contaminated with ink and needs to be removed and cleaned.
The other is the print head wiper that is located between the print head and the drum has tacked to the print head. You neet to access the print head area and gently detack it from the print head.
