Receiver blinks green, wireless controller blinks red and does nothing

I have four wireless logitech xbox original controllers all now not working. I have tried new batteries and several different brands of batteries and all 4 controllers are doing the same thing. The receiver blinks green and the controllers blink red but do nothing. I do have 3 controllers that still work so I know it's not the xbox. I have cleaned the controllers and have blown out the receiver ports. Help any suggestions...

I have the orginal XBox console and a Logitech wireless controller that I got from........EBay (controller only from Ebay). The seller said it was "like new". After plugging in the receiver to the console, it begins flashing a red light and so does the controller. Is there something I should try or should I get a refund? Thank you!

Xbox wireless controller lights keeps blinking but

If the ring of light keeps blinking, it means that the remote controller was not connected to a receiver which is the XBox 360 console. Try to press the connect button on the console and the wireless controller to sync them together.

Joystick is not finding the wireless receiver

On the front of the usb reciever you will see a green flashing LED. This is actually a button which when pressed will then start to blink more rapidly as it is now searching for the controller. If you then immediately press a button on the controller whilst these rapid flashes persist it will find the controller. Both reciever and controller will now show solid LED lights. Voila job done .....happy gaming:P

My controller has no red light and no response when i push any bu

The problem was caused when installing the batteries. The positive tip of one of the batteries pushed the terminal inside the battery bay into the inside of the controller. I was able to reposition the terminal buy removing the screws that hold the 2 halves of the controller together and sliding the terminal back into position while pitting the 2 halves back together.

Controller NOT Working Properly

I just came home to find this same problem. Four blinking lights on the wireless controller and the inability to sync the controller with my 360. On a whim I took out my controller's battery and then reinserted it after a few seconds. Voila! Problem solved. Controller works normally again!

My new *WIRED* Xbox 360 Controller just blinks!!! *HELP*

Wireless:Mostlikey a battery issue or sync issue..
Wired:mostlikey a bad cable..
Wireless with cable:mostlikey a battery or sync issue or cable..

Unknown fact. Controller wires are ment to fail as to make more profits.. How you might ask.. if you have a old wire try stripping off the plastic and the fibermesh wire protecting that four wires are presnt a white and green wires which are for sync and control, and black and red for + and - power imput/output for charging/powering the controler.. What microsoft dosent want you to know is the black and red wires they make 2cm shorter then the green and white.(Note: This has been proven through over 45 wire checks over the past year.)

This causes the wires to rather break over a time through any number of ways the wires handled.. or to burn out through a short in the wires.. most of the time frying your controller in the process. Only solution to extend wire lifetime: Hang the wire strait in a vertical line off of something for example a wall or door.. the usb plug is fine but the problem area is between the "knot" and controller mount on the opposite end of the wire. solution #2: Dont buy wires.. battery packs and battery charge stations are cheaper in the end. Logitech Wireless Controller flashing a red light

Hello There.

That's unfortunate but in the world of electronics from ebay it's not unusual. My suggestion would be to contact the seller and get them to replace the item or refund you.
If the seller is not helpful and you paid via paypal, then you have upto 60 days to make a claim as 'item not as dscribed' to get your money back or a replacement.

If my answer has solved your problem, please rate me on fixya.

Thank you

Help Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver For Windows, help help

I bought this system recently, and it had the same problem from the beginning.

I opened it, and found that the problem was the F1 Fuse that is cutting the current. You have to open it and bypass (soldering) the two legs of the F1 Fuse.

This is how to open it: http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/6896/openingoi6.jpg
and this is the circuit: http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/231/receivereb4.jpg

Hope this will help ;P

Xbox 360 wireless controller

You must sync the 360 with your controller. Turn on your 360 and your controller. Push the little black button on the front of your console, then hold the little tiny button on the top of your controller for a few seconds. This should sync them.
