I have just bought this camera and after taking just a few photos, the power button started flashing and camera switched itself off, I cannot see battery life indicator anywhere? When I tried to charge - did nothing!

The USB cord does NOT charge this camera, you have to take the battery OUT and place in in the charger that comes with the camera. If you do not have a charger, you can buy one on-line for about $20.00

I had the same problem as jacerni .The problem turned out to be a poor conection with the battery to the camera.I placed a small folded piece of paper ontop of the battery then closed the battery cover. This gives alittle etra presure to maintain a good conection between the battery and the camera. The battery is fully charged - wont turn on

Hello

Thank you for using FixYa for your problem

Always check the batteries first but if is it still giving the same fault, your camera is faulty.
It should be taken to an authorized repair centre for a repair estimate. Very few digital cameras have any user-serviceable parts.

Anything is fixable but it is more "is it cost effective"

Please rate our solutions and if you still have problems please call back for more ideas to help you
