Question about Network & Wireless Adapters

Wii USB Adaptor

Everytime I try to connect my Nintendo Wii to the internet via the USB adaptor I get various error codes saying it can't connect to the internet. First I got error code 52140 then 51340, now I get 51341. Iv'e tried plugging the adaptor into different USB ports, using the USB extension, the firewall and Avast antivirus don't have a problem with it and Iv'e reinstalled the software and downloaded the latest version. My PC is on the same floor as the wii in the house but in rooms on opposite sides of the house and I am unable to move either of them. HELP!!!!!!!!

Also my internet provider is Virgin Media if that helps.

The easiest thing to do is to get an usb wireless adapter for about 30 bucks , connect it to your pc or laptop , set it as an access point , then just use the built in wifi on the wii , to get on the net, hopes this works , did for me

My cisco linksys ae1000 adapter does not have internet connection

If haven't yet check Device Manager, go to Network Adapters and look for Linksys Wireless Adapter. Check the status of the adapt
Also look for errors codes on anything. Make sure all is enabled or need to install drivers.
If all fails remove adaptor and all drivers for it, restart computer and reinstall adaptor.

I can't connect to the wireless Internet despite

Borrow other wireless adaptor, then plug it to your desktop. Try to connect ...but U must install the adaptor driver too. If it works, that means your internal adaptor is out of work.

I've had a Netgear WG111 usb wireless adaptor since 2007. It has suddenly stopped working. My computer cannot connect to the internet/ modem - it says no adaptor detected. Help. Can the adaptor just die?

yes they can and do I personally have had 3 or more just die, especially anything USB, they are real bad for just stopping, It is usually the USB interface and not the actual device that fails. with USB, it is usually a power spike" that kills them.

I found I needed a USB/Ethernet adaptor in order to connect my new broadband and purchased an ASIX AX88772A vai your product A31GY from Maplins. I'm having trouble in that the Broadband set up refuses to...

I allowed Windows Update to search for the right driver. This took a long time - I'd tried earlier but evidently hadn't let it run for long enough. It located and loaded a driver and everything was then fine: the ethernet connection (via adaptor) 'went live', my new broadband set-up software recognised it and proceeded sussessfully from there.

I assume that the device manager on my PC was correctly identifying corrupt drivers on the small CD supplied with the adaptor and that I'd managed to find uncorrupted ones on the internet via Windows Update.

NETGEAR Wireless G USB Adaptor Problems

I contacted Bigpond after my whole internet collapsed due to my amature abilities in fixing the internet. >_<" yet they fixed my internet connection by disconnecting my current (DLINK DIR-300) router from the network. hmmmm... the technician also confirmed that my current broadband modem (2WIRE 2071-A) isnt capable of supplying a shared connection to more than one computer!! she also directed me towards a modem with an inbuilt wifi router that "supposedly" is the best option right now. (2701HGV-W) I'm a bit shaky and the stupid NETGEAR adaptor problem still exists - im willing to buy the new modem if its guaranteed to abolish this problem and give me a better internet wise outlook - please any suggestions will be appreiciated =)

Belkin N1 Wireless Adaptor not connecting on PC

what the adviser meant was your pc cannot provide enough power to the usb port to power the unit, assuming you have tried other ports and it still wont work; you will need to either purchase a pci usb 2.0 card adapter or purchase a mains powered usb hub and connect to this instead.

3com usb bluetooth adaptor wont work at all

The Bluetooth adapter should be able to be used with Win XP's own drivers, try uninstalling the drivers that you got with the adapter and dis connect it. Re-connect your adapter back in and right click on an item you want to send via bluetooth and it will say 'send to bluetooth device'. Please note this will only work with Win XP SP2 not SP1
