Change the USB connection type to "Hard Drive" instead of "Windows Device". Note that you will need to use "safely remove hardware" and not just unplug the USB when done.

You need to use windows media player 10 and have the file converted to a windows media file before it will work. The windows media player will then do it all for you

How do I down load photo's from my Samsung 2 phone please

First make sure you have the correct USB drivers for your phone installed on your pc. Go to device manager and see if your phone or mass storage device is listed. If not, download the drivers here, http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads. Make sure debugging on your phone is enabled. Please refer to the following:

  1. To set the Samsung Galaxy S2 to USB Mass Storage (MSC) mode, go into "Settings > Applications > Development" and enable "USB debugging".

  2. Then drag the status bar down and tap on "USB connected".

  3. The "USB connected" screen with the large green Android icon will appear. Tap on "Connect USB storage".

A confirmation dialog box will appear. Tap "OK". The green Android icon will turn orange, indicating that the phone is now in USB Mass Storage mode and should now appear as USB disk drives in "Devices with Removable Storage" and be assigned drive letters.

  6. Computer: Wait until phone memory and memory card appear as external disks in Microsoft Windows Explorer.
  7. Computer: On the computer desktop, double-click the My Computer icon
  8. Computer: In the My Computer window, double-click the icon representing your phone under Devices with removable storage to view the phone memory and memory stick folders.

4G Usb Imation Pen Drive has stopped being picked by any PC

there are two reason for ur problem
a) when windows XP fails to allocate a drive letter to your portable drive(pen drive)
b)some other technical faults in your pendrive
to solve ur problem follow these steps below

Right click on My computer icon->Select manage->Select Computer management->Select Disk Management under the storage section

-> In the right side will show you all of the current drives and partitions on your drive.

If you don’t know which is your pendrive, don’t worry, just find the drive you are looking for in the graphs at the bottom. They are usually named Disk 0, Disk 1, CD-ROM, CD-ROM1, etc.

If you’re looking for a USB flash drive, you’ll see the word “Removable” underneath Disk X -> Now right click on the icon -> Select Change drive letter and paths -> Assign a new Drive letter-> click Ok.

Now your pen drive will be detected in the computer.

there is an another way to solve ur problem

After plugging in the device. Go to device manager (In run type "devmgmt.msc") In Device manager go to "Universal serial bus controllers" It should list the storage devices that you have connected to your PC. Right click and then click "Uninstall. Remove the USB drive and restart your system.
Try connecting the device again, i think this should solve the problem.

The usb storage device don't work and don't appear in my computer what can I do for this please help me

first thing to do would be to check to ensure that your usb device isn't trying to assume the same drive letter as a mapped drive on your system. to check this, right click my computer icon, select manage, double click storage in the right pane, double click disk management snap in. You should see all storage devices connected to your pc. Mapped drives won't show up in there, so if you see a storage device with the same drive letter as a mapped drive change it to something else by right clicking that device, select change drive letter and path, and execute.
If it doesn't show up in your storage list, right click the my computer icon, select properties, click the hardware tab, select device manager, and at the top of device manager you should see an icon that looks like a pc with a magnifier over it, click that and it will search for new hardware and changes.

also, you may want to try moving the usb to another port on your computer, (ex. if you have it plugged into the front, try plugging into the back)
