Question about IBM 4528-n01 Printer
How do I install; my new maintenance kit? I am hoping there are quicker instructions than taking the whole printer apart but I cannot see. Also, how do I get my page count and tehn reset page count?
Pretty easy, the maintenance kit consists of a transfer roller (black roller that sits underneath toner cartridge), charge roller (sits above toner cartridge), fuser (rear of printer behind two plastic covers), and paper feed rollers. The maintenance kit should have details with diagrams.
To reset the Maintenance counter, turn off the printer.
Press and hold both Select & Return while powering on the printer.
Hold until display reads 'Performing Self Test" then let go of the buttons.
If the printer displays "80 Maintenance Due" Press the Go Key.
Press the right Menu Key and scroll to Reset Maintenance Counter.
Press the Select Key. Press the Select Key again to reset the counter.
When the reset operation is complete, press the right Menu key to exit Configuration Menu and press Select.
Printer will save the settings, IPL and come back to Ready.
