Possibly incompatible..are the disks recorded audio? Or store bought? Disk playervlense may be dirty. Go to best buy.. or wherever and buy a car audio cd cleaning kit. Check the condition of the disk aswell andthey would also sell disk cleaning and polishing kits at best buy..future shop..etc.just ask when u get there

When I try to play a C.D. on my system it gives me the following information. FRMTREAD, Error 15. What does this mean and what do I do to correct this problem? My system is a DEH2000MP S.N....

Consult your owner's manual for error codes. You have a disk/disk reader problem. A similar model Pioneer Manual indicates FRMTREAD as what is displayed while reading a disk. Error 15 equates to "The inserted disk does not contain any data". If this occurs with multiple disks, try the disks in a known good cd player. If they work there, it is likely a reader problem (alignment, bad reader, etc.) which would likely not be worth repairing or replacing in that unit.

Clarion DB175 cd player

The Clarion manual lists 3 error messages.
Error 2-A disk is caught inside the CD deck and is not ejected.
Error 3-A disk cannot be played due to scratches, etc.
Error 6-A disc is loaded upside-down and cannot be played.

Good Luck.

Error 6 on in car stereo

Here is the link to the user manual for your player if you need it; Page 38 of the manual (page 42 of the pdf file) describes the error codes error 6 states "a disk is loaded upside down inside the cd deck and doesnt play properly" Suggested solution is to try the disc the other way up, if this doesn't help then there is most likely a problem with the lens - possibly cured by cleaning, please ask again if you want to try this yourself and we can talk you through it Hope this helps :)

Error message E-60

First, run a chkdsk (or scandisk) to your Ipod from your computer (like any other hard disk drive on your computer)since it is probable that the Ipod's hard disk drive may contain errors. Then, follow these steps: 1.) Disconnect the Ipod from the KCA-IP500(the Ipod interface) 2.) Press and hold the middle button and the top button at the same time. 3.) The Apple Logo should appear. 4.) Reconnect your Ipod to the KCA-IP500 5.) The head unit should display loading and then respond to the IPOD interface.
