I have a ethernet cable connected to my xbox and laptop why wont it connect

Exactly what are you trying to do?

If your trying to run Xbox with internet from your laptop its not possible unless your laptop has a internet card. (Doesn't use a router) You need to connect your Xbox to a "Router" not a laptop. You can also waste some money and buy a wireless adapter for the xbox... which is rather dull.

Asus g1 laptop won't turn on & won't charge, what's the problem?

try to have your battery checked, maybe it is damaged or your cable maybe damaged. if your laptop wont turn on, your battery is discharged. and by that if you connect your cable and the battery wont charge either then, your cable may have a problem too.

My Roland kr-5 digital piano has the touch screen but over the last yr has gradually faded so I cannot see what is on the screen unless I bend right down on an angle and even then it is very hard to make...

probably wont need a new screen, its probably got led backlights in this is the case these may of been dying, take out the screen and if you can see leds switch it on and see if the leds light up, if now just replace them.

If it uses a bulb in the screen then you can try to get a replacement bulb or just get the whole screen.

There is a slight chance that it could be the backlight circuit in which case changing the backlight/screen wont help.

If you have a multimeter test that the backlight for voltage, to make sure it not the backlight power supply

Ive been trying to connect my laptop to my wireless router, and although its picking up the wireless connection it wont connect to my router

You may have to connect first of all with an ethernet cable. Enter admin mode and change the settings to recognise your laptop - this is usually a list of MAC addresses.

Hope this helps...

Mac Driver for Dream Cheeky USB Roll-Up piano

I got one of the drum kits last Christmas, but I have a Mac. Finally, this Christmas, I got around to writing a driver for it. I mean, why not? It runs in Terminal and translates the drumkit hits to MIDI messages which you can use to control GarageBand or Logic or send out a MIDI interface to control MIDI hardware. Doesn't have any of the fancy learning modes or anything, though; just lets you play it. Email mail_ben_schmidt at yahoo com au if you're interested. I doubt it would take much modification to get it to work with the piano, which I expect works on exactly the same principles. But I don't have a piano, so I would need to collaborate with someone or have one lent or donated to me to do that.
