Question about Keurig B60 Coffee Maker

Keurig problem. I have had and used this unit for almost (2) years now without problem. Today, when making a pot of coffee, the unit did not disperse into the cop however inside the unit somewhere and on to the counter top. If this unit is plugged up, is it normal to dispense to the inside of the maker and to the counter top? Please provide a repair recommendation as well as provided if needed. Thanks.

Check to see if the gasket around the top "pointy thing" is damaged or missing. That just happened to mine.

Keurig will send you a replacement gasket free of charge. Just call them at 1-866-901-BREW (2739) with your model and serial numbers. The numbers are on the bottom of the machine.

We have just had this problem to happen to us, when my husband unscrewed the screws in the bottom of the unit, he found that the HOSE had shaken loose or came off. Inside was a small plastic tubing that connects together to let the water run from the reservior to the drip chamber. Once he reconnected the water hose everything worked properly. I pray that this helps you!

We had a pot for almost 2 years and loved it, then it started making coffee all by itself. We had purchased it at Costco, so they took it back as defective. We are now on our 5th B66 pot in the past few weeks. I have worked with Keurig on 3 of these pots and they finally sent me a new one from the factory. We used it for 2 days and now have the same problem. The other 4 just kept saying Not Ready. After talking to several tech's at Keurig, they think the heating elements are burning out in them. They could be a fire hazard, so be careful. We are contacting the Consumer product Safety Commission. I loved my pot and really miss having my coffee. I would call Keurig and report the problem. Maybe they can tell you how to replace the heating element.

The problem is often that the machine develops a leak in the hose that is rightover the transformer...the water drips onto the transformer and kills that...then you have no power to run the machine.

My Keurig B70 has begun dispersing various amounts of water no matter what size cup is chosen

you will need to try the vinegar/water cleaning... 1/2 cup white vinegar to full tank water..run until empty..then redo, with clean tank of water....taste water when done, no bad taste
this has to be done on these machines at least once a year.....

Our coffee maker is only filling 1/2 a cup and automatically shutting off after each cup. Any ideas how to fix?

I had one that did the same thing, it was still under one year old, and they replaced it free when I called Keurig.

You might try cleaning it out good, with either a good coffee pot cleaner, or a vinegar solution as described in the instruction book.

Keurig new with burnt plastic smell

We had the same problem with the Keurig 2.0. We ran many cups of vinegar followed by water and it didn't fix the problem at all. The only fix was calling Keurig and they replaced the unit. We had a real nice 460. They replaced the unit with an inferior 350. Smaller reservoir, B&W screen and some missing menu options and different color trim. However, it works.

Warming plate boils coffee.

Make sure you are using the type of commercial coffee pot like the one in the picture. They don't have to have to be plastic with the metal bottom, they can be all glass. The commercial pots are heavy duty and usually disperse the heat well.

If you are using commercial pots the only solution without replacing the warmers is to put three pennies on the warmer and to put the pot on top of them. The pennies will get hot so don't forget and grab them but the pennies help to move the pot just a little way away from the direct heat.
