Question about iRiver iFP-790 MP3 Player
I found an updated firmware file (Don't know where I got it) and once it was installed I could see and transfer music files from Windows Media Player 11 to my iriver ifp 790. You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like me to send you the file.

You can get it from the iRiver american web site. The page includes manuals, firmware and the Music Manager software to download the music from your PC. I think there is firmware available that makes the ifp player appear as a USB mass storage device, so you can drag and drop in windows, without having to start the Music Manager software, though I don't have a link for that

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
