Pls help me how to solve the asus K8V-Mx mother board

How to solve the asus K8V-Mx mother board doesnot detect and processor not worked , no display ,still cabinet led blinking

    could be the processor , could be the ram , could be alot , but what have you done to eliminate any hardware to determine what the problem is?

You could check if the pins of the processor aren't bent or broken...(even one single pin will make the processor malfunction and in your case it might not boot up) or you could have wronk ram modules so check the motherboard supportedmodules and check the modules you currently own.

if asus.com drivers arnt working then the only other thing you can try is looking at the additinal updates in windows update sometimes there are driver updates in there.

I want asus k8v-mx xseries matherboad sound driver

Go to the Asus site http://www.asus.com/ , select your region click on Download,
In Select Product,choose Motherboards;
In Select Series, choose Socket754;
In Select Models,choose K8V-MX;
Click onSearch;
ExpandAudio;
Select yourOperating System.

Additional,pls verify that your Audio option is set to “Enabled” in your CMOS/BIOS.

try resetting bios first if that doesnt work check for dust around the first ram chip and slot
remove the dust and retry if that doesnt work try another psu if you have one

NEED MOTHER BOARD DRIVER CD's

You can download the motherboard drivers from MSI.com and ASUS.com then you wont need any CD's thereafter. You can also try download.com.

Processor for P5VDC-MX

Hey there alcouto, your motherboard supports Intel Celeron, Intel Pentium 4, and Intel Pentium D processors. The socket set is LGA775. The FSB should be no higher than 800Mhz. It appears you have purchased the wrong CPU for your board. I hope the rest of the info helps you on your next purchase. Good Luck!
