SOURCE: i have a pyle blue wave 12inch 800w subwoofer for a car hook up?

that just means it is dual channel.

if you have a stereo amp just run the left wire to one terminal and the right wire to the other terminal.

if your amp is mono run the wires to the first terminal and then from there to the second set of terminals.

PLEASE NOTE that by doing that you are bridging the speaker if the speaker was 4ohms to start with you just dropped it to 2 ohms so make sure your amp can handle that.

SOURCE: 2003 Cadillac DTS w/Bose, has rear sub & adding Pyle dual 10 sub

two channel will do with the same power power rating of your speakers ex. your speaker is 500 watts per piece so you need to buy a 500 watts per channel amplifier

I am trying to hook up 3 kicker subs with a pyle 1400 watt amp in my 98 Eddie Bauer explorer and i am not sure how to do it because it has the stock amp in the back passenger quarter panel

First off, you won't be able to do this with a Pyle amp. Pyle amps are only 2 ohm stable (at best). When you do a 3 sub set up (assuming that they are all single 4 ohm voice coil), you will get either a 1.33 ohm load (way to low for that amp and will fry it quick), or you will get 12 ohms (hardly worth hooking up because of the lack of power).

Now say you have dual 4 ohm subs. You will still have the same problem going even lower than the 1.33 ohm or 6 ohms.

My recommendation is either do a 2 sub set up or get a better amp.

I know it's not what you want to hear, but it's true.

I have a pyle 12"

Hi there,

I am afraid in order to make use of your sub, you will need to buy an amplifier and a cabling kit to run it. You could run it straight from the headunit from one of the main channels but it would need a crossover so it wasn't fed any sounds which it couldn't cope with (high frequencies, they require very fast movement of the speaker cone, your sub wouldn't be able to do it)

Here is a link to a downloadable copy of headunit manul.

Hope this helps

Custom install of pyle red label sub

Start here: http://www.fiberglassforums.com.

Go to the "How to Make a Sub Box Mold Thread" and look over some of the photos.

Building a trunk box for a single sub is a great first project and depending on the time and attention to detail that you put into it, the results can be really fantastic.

Also take a look at the "Tools of the trade" thread. There's tons of good information and ideas on the fiberglass forum, including sources for materials step-by-step photo logs of various projects.

Hope this helps and that you enjoy your new DIY sub enclosure.

Good Luck!

Can you tell me the correct specifications for a speaker box for a pyle PLSQ12D want the best sound possible!!!!

hey found the answer to your question while looking for mine own, heres is the link to the pdf. it has all the specs from the company(pyle) dealing with the 10,12 square sub.
the info you are looking is under the category/ Vas (cuft.) which if i am reading correct to get the best sound you would need to build your box with 4.14 cubic feet. but look for yourself

I have a Pyle PLD3MU head unit and a sony XM-ZR1252 amp (2 channel) and the car has 2 door speakers, 2 rear deck speakers, and 2 12" subs. What is the best configuration to hook this up?

Run your 12" subs off the amp make sure to Xover for bass only.
Try running the 4 speakers direct to the stereo may not be enough power, Might have to invest in another amp and speaker upgrade to get it sounding just right.
But its a place to start.
