If you can, try checking your wire connections. If they check out fine, try checking your fuses and wiring for power.

Source unit will not turn on. there is power going to the rear of the unit. stopped working when battery was charged in car.

hate to tell you but if you jump your vehicle off or charge battery while still in your vehicle you have a extremely likely hood of burning up your unit amp and anything else. hope thats not the deal and this helps
try to take it out and see if the fuse is blown thats the first thing then see if there is any fuses blown in your fuse box. if they are good take the top off of it and see if you see any burn marks inside hope this helps good luck let me know

Sound like to me you got a problem with the capcitor inside the unit, if its under warrenty it will need to be serviced. If its not I ould be checking capcitors inside to make sure there not bulging leaking or otherwisen ot wroking correctly.

Radio has no power at all. All wiring is connected properly and all fuses are good. It is a Dual xdvd8181

the fuse is in the black box tied in to the main power wire, the yellow one. open it up and the fuse is inside. if this has been cut off and your other fuses are fine, the unit did not have proper protection and probably fried from a surge or short cicuit . the fuse on the unit should be a 10 amp mini and no higher.

Jensen VM9311/ UV7i wont turn on!!?

Yo, I've got the perfect solution to your problem. Pull out the head unit from your dash. Then, remove the wiring harness carefully from the unit. Now, push in the yellow power wire (even jiggle it a little) making sure it's tightly snug the small port of the wiring harness. Then, plug the harness back into the unit and try turning it on. I've found that the wires come lose easily on this unit. hit me back up at

Unit won't turn on....

There are several surface mount fuses and the flexible pcb is also a suspect, don't attempt to repair this unit yourself unless you have experience if not you will end up doing more harm than good.
