Asus p5q deluxe not detecting lsi megaraid

Hello i suggest you download a manual from here:

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_775/P5Q_Deluxe/#download

The manual can be found by selecting the windows system.
Click global for download.

Any files has to be unziped before use.

My guees is that the screen card or other pci-e
card has a defect and must be renewed.
One of your harddrives could also have a fault.
Try to boot with only one drive.

The power supply could have a fault also.

Please install any missing drivers.

A bios upgrade can sometimes solve this.

Good luck

2 video card detected. onboard card are desable. PCIe card EN210GT. card detected first EN210 second 6150se MB MSI-7309 K9N6SGM-V

use your PCIE card to boot-up from CMOS, then check your onboard vga, try to configure it by 1st boot is your onboard, if that wont work then maybe your onboard vga was already damaged, better to use pcie video card rather than an onboard because it lets you consume the whole amount of your memory unlike the onboard card.. THanks

USB Over Current Status Detected, Computer will shut down in 15 seconds

this message popped up because one of the device which you connected to the usb of the pc was overdrawing current i.e more than 5V DC. Hence, the built in system security gave this message and will shut down your computer in 15 seconds. In order to avoid this message first remove all the usb items connected to it and then connect one by one and detect the faulty one and replace.

PCI-E recognition issue on intial start up ASUS P5GC-MX/1333

To solve this problem you have to do the following things in the series.

first remove all the extra cards and then connect to the onboard vga connector. then start the sys and go to bios settings. if you know the advanced adjustments then
correct them as follows. otherwise just select load optimized settings.

first go to the video card selection in advanced
and then set the setting to pci/pciinternal or pciint/pci ext

then set the pallette snooping to yes.
shutdown system

place graphics card and then donot change any setting. then you'll get the display.

i have the same motherboard and i also faced this once. it is not a problem it is just misconfiguration.

Can't install linux

Probably should check in the BIOS and see if the HD is detected.
If not, you should check cables and connections (a bad cable will do it every time) power to the HD (can you feel/hear it start up?) Last resort to flash the BIOS. Try a different HD first and see if it is detected.
