Question about Mitsubishi VS-60707 60" Rear Projection Television
Immediatly after turning on the TV, the picture starts to grow larger and out of focus, then snaps back to the correct size and starts to grow again. It is sort of like it is zooming in and out constantly at about a 1 to 2 second cycle. Any suggestons?
Hello and Welcome To Fixya.com!,
There Are Many Things That Can Be Causing This:
1) Power Supply/Board is short circuiting
2) Scanner Board is Faulty
3) Inside is dirty
For these problems- You may need to replace The Power Board and Supply and clean the inside of the TV.
If that doesn't help then it is The Scan Board, This Scans Channels, if the Scan Board is faulty weird things will happen to the TV - Replacing it is the best way to go it is doesn't work, i will be contacting Mitsubishi and reporting this problem to them.

Wow I've seen about thirty of these models with this same problem. Sometimes just opeing the back and giving it a thourough cleaning helps but then in a few weeks it usually comes back, the fix is to rplace the powersupply and clean out the inside.
