Question about HP Office Equipment & Supplies
First thing to check is to see if you have documents in que.
Click Start>Printers and Faxes. Are there all 0 (zero) under the heading "Documents"?
If there is anything but zeros, double-click the printer icon. In the window that opens select Printer>Cancel all Documents.
If that is good, open any document and select File>Print. In the window, is the "Number of Copies" box 1 (one)? If not, you need to set your printer default settings.

sounds like when it wasn't printing properly, you tried to print several times, not realising that prints which were not printed at the time were being stored to print when the printer was available.
you need to check the print queue, by clicking on the printer icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen(by the clock)
you should be presented with a list of pending documents, which you can delete or suspend as required.
if the printer icon cannot be found next to the clock you can find it under START>settings>Printers
