THIS I HAVE SOLVED ON MY OWN HP9700 LAPTOP. GO TO INTERNET OPTIONS>ADVANCED TAB AND AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE YOU WILL SEE A BUTTON TO "RESET INTERNET EXPLORER TO DEFAULT SETTINGS". THIS WILL CLEAR YOUR PROBLEM WITH IE. IT WILL GO BACK TO ITS SETTINGS BEFORE THE FREEZES. I HAVE USED THIS AND IT WORKS GREAT. SEE IF THIS DOESN'T CLEAR YOUR PROBLEM. GOOD LUCK.

Everytime i try to open website with google crome or ie8 i get error 101 net err_connection_reset any ideas this started two days ago

Reformat your computer then upgrade to Windows7.

If you reformat your computer, make sure you save everything, because you will loose everything. Take it to a reputable computer company. You might have to pay a little, but at least all your documents, music, and pictures, will be saved.

Good Luck.

Javascript is not working correctly

This sounds as though you're using the wrong browser. Some sites are built using a preferred browser, like IExplorer, though most are not that picky. Try using IExplorer first, then a different browser if this download is important to you. Try Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Google's Chrome.
If all fail, send a message to the Webmaster of the site and let them know about your problem, giving them details of what OS you're using, its version, browser used and version, etc. Only then will they be able to help you.
Good luck!

Problem event name appcrash application name iexplore.exe

here is my advice : Just go to www.microsoft.com and download internet explorer again and install it , then reboot your system . I'm sure that this will solve the problem . any way , why don't you try other internet communication softwares like ( firefox or google chrome) those both are great also . I advice you to have more than one internet communication software . I already have three just in case if one of them is corrupted . I have ( Internet explorer and firefox and google chrome ) . just try the idea and you'll be satisfied with the result .

If that didn't help then try to check system for errors . such as registry errors .
good luck .

Internet exp stop working whenever i want to view my fb home

It could be one of the Internet Explorer Add-ons is causing a problem or it is conflicting with another add-on.

Start Internet Explorer withour add-ons:

Click Start, then click Run and in the Run box type in iexplore.exe -extoff

Internet Explorer should open up without a home page and on the screen will tell you it is working without add-ons. Try and browse some of your websites.

Does this error happen when you try this? If it doesn't, go to Control Panel > Internet Options, click the Programs Tab at the top then click the Manage Add-ons button. Go through the list of add-ons that are currently installed and disable the ones you recognize like Google or Yahoo toolbars, etc. Don't disable any of them that you know the publisher for, like Microsoft or Java (Sun Microsystems)

If the error still occurs, the Internet Explorer 7 you have may have an error. You can back up your favourites list, the go to http://support.microsoft.com and download and re-install IE7 or download and install the new IE8.

Also, if it occurs on a specific website like Facebook, update some of your website add-ons. Go to http://www.java.com or http://www.adobe.com and install the latest Java and Flash Player.

Error Code 0x80004005

The issue is with google earth, is a fault in the software that comes up with certain windows installation.

I report from Google groups:

"
It sounds like Google Pack might be having an issue with installing
Google Earth. You can try downloading Google Earth directly at
http://dl.google.com/earth/client/current/GoogleEarthWin.exe

If you're unable to download anything with Google Pack, you may want
to try looking in the awesome Google Pack Help Center for more
information. You can find the Google Pack Help Center at
http://www.google.com/support/pack/?hl=en"

Also do the following, install it manually from

Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Add Program from CD/Floppy Diskette

thanks
