Re: problem with installing software onto my phone
You cannot directly send any software to our mobile. Your mobile is Java enabled, so you visit a site like the www.getjar.com and download the softwares you r interested. Most of them are free.
The softwares should be in *.jar or*.jad format to install in mobile phones. So download them and connect your phone in File Transfer mode and send the files. Browse to the location in the mobile and just open them They will get installed.

Connect your Motorola phone to a computer using a USB cable.
Drivers for the phone will be automatically installed when the phone is
connected. A notification message should appear in the lower-right
corner of your computer screen when the installation is completed.
Click "Start" and select "My Computer" from the menu. Double-click the Samsung's icon to open its folder on the computer.
Select and open a folder on your computer in which to save the picture.
Select a picture from your phone's open folder to transfer
to your computer. Drag the picture to the folder where it is going to be
saved. Continue to drag and drop pictures in the folder until the last
picture is transferred.
Exit the phone's folder on the computer and disconnect the Motorola phone from the computer.
wowee, if your taking pictures with your phone they are being stored ON THE
PHONE. Transfer them to your memory card to move them via USB to your computer.
In the future to make life simple change your storage (Picture Settings) to
store to the transflash card, do this with your videos as well.
motorola mobile phone tools 3.0 software is not needed for this. I really wish people would stop promoting motorola mobile phone tools 3.0 software for the most simple phone operations. motorola mobile phone tools 3.0 software is great for
mods, but it is not needed for everything.

you don't realy need any soft ware as much what u need do is be sure its a phone that has a bluetooth and a pc that has bluetooth, if your pc does not have bluetooth get an external bluetooth from a computer accessory shop and install it on your computer then u can do what ever u want, send videos, pictures, musics e.t.c
You didn.t mention if you have the software installed that is needed to access the phone via usb cable. Motorolla,.LG, Nokia and all the phones I have dealt with use their own proprietary software usually available from their respective web sites. The USB cable won't work without the phones software.
