Where can I buy a new cable because my old one got rotted for my Hobart H 600 Dough Mixer? I've been looking around to get a new turn on and off switch as well. Thank you.

The easiest fix for the cable would possibly to go to a good electrical supplier and simply purchase a length of S O cable and a plug to match the one that is on machine , another words make your own this would probably be much less expensive as well s.o. is the cable most all equipment comes with , as far as the switch if you take the old one they possible have a oem match or can get it for you , if this does not work for you i can give you the address of a restaurant supply house that might have a supplier to them that these parts are available from , but would cost more that my idea , if you remove the switch be sure and make diagram as to how it was wired

When mixing pizza dough in hobart se 601 mixer the dough hook stops under load any suggestion

Depending on how old the mixer is, I would check the belts (if it is belt driven) to the planetary gears. If it is not belt driven, it sounds as if the motor is faulting out. I would replace the motor brushes first before spending money for a new motor. This may not be an intelligent question but I have to ask, are you overloading the mixer? A 12 quart mixer will do fine with cake batter but when you mix pizza or bagel dough, the moisture content is much less and it is equivalent to cement. Sorry, I had to ask because I have seen this before. Good luck and I hope this helps.

Hobart h 600 mixer dough hook keeps coming off during operation. What would cause this

Take a look where the agitator pin engages with the dough hook.
Either the agitator pin (sticks out from the agitator shaft) is worn out or the groove in the dough hook where the pin should sit has elongated and worn. Either pin replacement is in order or new hook is required...possibly both.

Hobart N50 Tripped

The reset button is to protect over amping the motor. The N-50 is not a very strong unit, (commercially), but you won't break a gear. If you overload the unit, you'll either trip the overload (reset button), or you will break the taper pin that attaches the planetary to the center shaft.

If you're looking for a small commercial unit, and you're in the US, look into the 10 qt Precision Mixer.
