Question about Kenmore 74602 Gas Dryer
I have a Kenmore gas dryer, It turns but does not heat. I have checked the ignitor and sensor and both have continuity. Can you help?
There are a lot of challenges in checking the electrical system. If this dryer has a traditional timer it is best to find the circuit diagram included inside the dryer. Consult the diagram and make sure you have the same voltage on the input of the timer and then on the circuit feed to the igniter. The case is a good ground so you do not need to connect to the Neutral. Let me know the dryer model number? Is the dryer in a high humidity environment? Also, how old is the dryer?
