I am having a problem with my machine, every time I try to select a program to run it sticks on the test cycle and no matter what I do, switching it off and on etc, it will not run. Any Ideas?

ApprenticeIf you by accident press the start button and the cancel button at the same time it puts the washer into demo mode.To switch it off press both buttons at the same time and hold until dEND is displayed. Sometimes you have to keep trying but it will work, it did with mine ok.

if your machine shows "test" then you need to cancel test program, I was told that you need to prass the "start/cancel" button ten the power button in either order not sure which order but it does work. this cancels the test and you need to then restart as normal.

Hotpoint recommend turning off the mains for ten seconds and then switching it back on before you press both buttons for five seconds. This is because like all computer driven mavhines they have a memory and the machine needs to forget.
