Philips SHM3300 Headset

Ermm, basically i dont think my computer is reconising the head phones .. they are plugged into the front of my tower but the sound still comes out of the main speakers.

Try to unplug your main speakers and replace the head phone, if it still doesn't produce any sound, then you may replace your head phone.

Looking at the rear of the computer;
A) Two thumbscrews to loosen, then remove the Left Side Panel.

B) Two Philips head screws to remove for Right Side Panel.
(Designation of left/right Side Panels are looking from the Front, of the computer)

Pop the Front Cover off. WATCH the wires so they do NOT get disconnected from the motherboard!

Slide the right Side Panel back about an Inch, then lift out, and off.

Click on - Gateway Computer User Guide - in blue.

Now remove the 1 or 2 Philips head screws on the right side, that hold the Harddrive into the harddrive bay.

My neckband comp headset hasnt come with instructions


A head set like this if for your computer or a phone, one plug is a ear bud or head phone for listening, the other plug is for a Mic. to talk into.

My phone does not ring out loud when the headset is plugged in


I dont think it is suppose to. When you plug most head sets in , you are turning the speakers off.

Call transfer problem between Philips VOIP8411B and Plantronics C65 headset


sounds simple in the manufacture hand book that came with head set
states on some models they have this particular compatible mode built in
depending on specs of phone and headset gotta make sure that they were built with these built in specs and not all dect/gap work with other sets
