Are you sure you replaced all of the bad ones?Did you look at the top,and bottom of all the capacitors? Can you see the picture if you shine a flashlight on the screen?Did you replace any capacitors on the inverter that lights up the bulbs for the backlight,or just the ones on the power board?I hope this helps. If you have any questions, please let me know.Thank You very much!

It appears to be a "Bad Capacitor"
There are usually 5 of them on the mother board.
I would replace all 5 but you can also just replace the bad one.
They are small cylinder shaped components that are up to an inch long maybe 1/8th to 1/4 inch diameter.
They Black, light green etc,
You can usually tell that they are blown by looking at the top of them. It should be flat with a plus sign etched across it's aluminum cap.
If it is blown; it will be "Bulging" out of the top.
They are mounted with "high temp solder"
I did not mention how to access the mother board because these flat screened TV's vary in the way that they open up.
This capacitors generally cost from 1-5 bucks.
Good Luck! I hope this helps!

Hi!
That's a clear indication that you have a bad power supply in your TV.
If you know how to DiY...I suggest you open your TV. Locate the power supply section, it is where the end of the power plug is connected. Replace all blown or bulge or leaked capacitors with same value. That will fix your TV problem.
The hardest part is to disassembling your TV cover, cause you will need to pry off the snap in lock at the edge of your TV.

Power supply board should look like this. Examine the capacitors in the board
power%281%29.jpg2_23_2012_11_31_16_am.png

After replacing blown capacitors...it should work again.
caps%281%29%281%29.jpg

Things you will need.
1. A plastic flat end screw or any object with flat ends....to fry off the cover
2. Soldering iron.
3. Soldering lead
4. Soldering pump.
5. Flat and Philip Screw
6. Replacement capacitors (of same value with the blown one) that you can buy to any electronics store.

Hope it helps

Check the power supply first for bac capacitors (learn more here about bad capacitors: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor_plague)
I had replaced capacitors in my, hopefully it did not cause damages to other circuits such as backlight inverter board.

Pioneer pdp 502mx goes to standby no picture after power on

Contact Pioneer at 1-800-421-1404 about getting an in-home power supply replacement. This is a known issue with some plasma displays. Some of you would experience a loud pop and then the power supply fails. You get a red light below the ON button, when you press on, the red light will turn green for a second and then back to red. The plasma display will not turn on after the power supply fails. Call Pioneer at 1-800-421-1404.
