As an installer, without a manufacturer's specification, I would assume no specific clearance is required. Further, if you check the exploded parts diagram in the manual you will note that there is an insulating panel in the base of the oven. Evidently the oven has been designed to insulate the exterior panel from excess heating and does not require any minimum clearance at the base.

In your browser bar type in --hotpoint user manuals

In the list click on---manuals-user guides-handbooks
In the search box enter the oven model number and download as req'd
