Question about Maytag MMV5207A Microwave Oven
I have a 2001 Maytag Microwave model #MMV5100AAB which has been constantly tripping the breaker when either you select the minute buttons to operate or by manually putting in the cook time. I unplugged the microwave from the outlet which is above in the cabinet and I even ran an extension cord to 2 different outlets and it also tripped the breaker. My electric is new and I have 20 amp breakers which this microwave only runs on 13.8 amps. I know there is a short or something in the microwave, and I was wondering if this is an inexpensive fix or should we just go out and buy a new microwave. Please help.... Thanks.
Is there a way to over ride the main board start button so i will know if the board is bad. or away to test this?.
