Question about Canon PowerShot S500 IXUS 500 Digital Camera
Hi, starting yesterday my display on the camera stopped working. Is there way to fix this problem? Would this be the manufactures problem?
Does your camera have a "DISPLAY" or DISP button on the back. Many cameras do, and its used to manually turn the viewscreen on and off to save batteries. If you notice such a button, turn your camera on, and press this button once.
If this doesn't correct the problem, please provide more details like your camera's make and model (like Canon A70). Also try taking a picture and downloading it to your computer. Verify that the picture looks OK. The reason I'm asking this is that yes, it may be the manufacturer's problem as a defective CCD can also cause this symptom.
