95 metro....2 lines run from the fuel tank to the drivers side of the car....what do they connect to

You should have a feed line to the fuel injector rail and a return line back to the tank,you should also have 2 evap lines that look similar to the fuel lines these vent off fuel vapor fumes from the tank to the purge valve and into the engine to burn of the vapor fumes instead of venting the fumes into the atmosphere as days long gone by on older vehicles,make sure of what you are looking at,and yes fuel lines will leak if old and dry rotted or damaged from movement due to broken motor mounts
