Question about Washing Machines
I noticed you asked someone about the basket spinning freely after their washer stopped spinning. My LTF2140ES0 stopped working during a load of towels. Now the indicator lights come on, the pump runs briefly then nothing. It won't spin on any setting. I did check the belt and while it seems fine, there is a tiny trickle of oil coming from the center shaft where the large pulley is. Any ideas on what's up?
As a front loader it is different than a top loader. It sounds like your pump is dead or there is an issue with the drain hose or how far it sits in the drain. A clog and/or a siphoning condition can lead to this as also how much and what type of soap is used. A suds lock can cause this also. If the machine agitates fine and the timer advances then the motor control unit is fine. Lets see the only other problem I see is an imbalance. I will post a pic so you can see your machine better.
