KRUPS XP7220 error 06 problem

Hi i thought maybe you can help me. Thanks in advance :)

You see i have a krups xp7220 i took it from a friend of mine. Its like new i saw inside information only 10 cups were made.

So my problem is that its not making coffee the first time when i took it it made 1 cup of coffee then stopped and gave me an error code of 06. I like playing around withe machines so i opened it from up i cleaned inside there is a hole i cleaned that too i noticed that when i turn on the power its doing a test mode and it stops during the test mode giving me that error 06. So what i noticed is that i think that its not pumping in water. But when its turning on its taking some water from the water tank because i see it.I noticed also that when th er is no water and i refel water its turing on normally but when its trying to make coffee its grinding its taking inside but its not giving water at the end because when i see the rubbish of the coffee its not wet. i put it one bu luck in cleaning mode and ther was water coming or i dont know maybe the air pressure was working. Also you can put a water filter in the tank but i dont have one. Is it possible to be from the filter? Because in the manual its not saying that you sould have the filter on always.

my email is goraslan@hotmail.com

please give me an idea what to do i cant find a technician to fix it

When you brew a cup is the coffee cold? Or is just the excess water that come out into the water tray cold?

SOURCE: Lots of disturbing noises, no coffee

It is is easy, if you know how to do it... as always
First take of the wather, trach bin etc,
Start with removing the cup wher the beans is stored, the adjustment knob for the mill is a tricky part. Remove it by bending out the side of the knob. Thereafter remove the screws from cup and those you on see on the top.
The front (silver frame) is removed by lifting it upwards, behind it you have 4 screws that has to be removed.
The last two screws is found under the wather tank.
Now you should had take away 11 screws, at least...
Bend the back of top and it will be off. Finally push the rest of the plastic cover backwards.

Do you know what the error codes says? I have know 6,8and no coffy...

SOURCE: Code error 06 in Krups

Hi,

Error 06 - Pump in actuator down phase

The flow has not dropped (> 50ml/min)
after the actuator has been filled to the
maximum (80ml); there is a water
leakage and the actuator does not fill
Look for the leakage source:
hoses, actuator, priming valve?
Switch or distributor switch
control fault: incorrect detection
of cams error in distributor
position in cylinder descent
phase.
Flowmeter hoses changed over
Distributor problem (leakage at
drain ..)
Faulty connection between the
2 picto boards
If no leak detected, replace
power board V26 with V29

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Look for and remedy any internal leaks. If error 6 remains then expect to replace the distributor assembly.

Error code 06

The error 06 happens because one of the services – Rinsing, Cleaning, Descaling or Replace Water Filter is out of date.
Start in a sequence and go through ALL services. Go to “Machine Information” in “Programme” Mode to ensure that “Last” reads zero or a maximum of something below 10 and your machine will NO longer give start up problem. Please report it if this still occurs, because a computer reset can be done.
