Hi
Check through the paper path for any obstructions.
Fit the paper properly on the feeding tray.
Clear any print queues.
Turn the printer off and on.
Disconnect the printer from power and from the PC, leave it for a while and then connect it again.

    no, but you CAN DOWN LOAD THE DRIVER FOR YOUR UNIT, STORE IT IN A USB AND THEN JUST TRASFERIT TO THE NEW COMPUTER AND WALLLA, IT WILL ASK YOU IF YOU HAVE A DISK OR SOMETHING, THEN YOU POINT IT TO THE USB OPEN RUN, THEN YOUR CHERRY, HOS THAT HEHEE!

    Re Lexmark 5495 Paper has jammed right out of handling distance. It can be seen down at the bottom of where the paper is loaded but cannot be reached. I've removed the three screws from the back plate...
    try a long thin pair of tweezers that's the only way to get to that part of the printer..and be careful. there's parts in there that don't appreciate tweaking by hard items.
