Jvc remote control

I pressed one of the buttons on this remote control and now my tv is stuck with just a blue screen as if you were getting ready to watch a movie or switch over to the vcr/dvd. i dont know what i did but i have mashed every button on this thing to try and restore the picture but nothing happens...what to do...it is a jvc rm-c1259g remote control...help please....
