Problem for Motorola RAZR V3

Screen goes white after being on for a while

My screen goes white after being on for some time. It's weird because as long as I am using it it's ok and then when I just sit it down for 10 minutes or so it goes white. If I catch it while it's doing it I can hit a button and it will come back on. If I don't catch it I have to turn the phone off and then it will power on and be ok for another 10 minutes or so.

check the screen saver settings on it if it gas one that may be it. but highly unlikely
