Responding to my emails

I recieved a note and proceeded to replay it takes me to page were I need to identify my email address, so I click the button to get reply in my email.

Then I got into my email and type in my email info and it says error so I havent been able to respond to any of my messages

Simple , if they sent an email. Don't replay right way with your information. It can be a phishing site or scammers. First, Go to paypal (MAKE SURE THERE IS A GREEN LOCK ON THE ADDRESS BAR) log in and see if you funds are in order. Second , change your password right away. If you can't access your account , look at the bottom of the page and click contact. Then, on that page choose how you want to handle it. You can e-mail them by clicking E-mail us or call them by clicking call us and it will give you a phone number and code. Do not replay with information to E-mails until you can confirm it is from paypal !

Help! I can't respond via email on Craig's List


Imagine your shopping on Craig's List and find this GREAT item you really want to buy. You open the ad, decided the price is fantastic and want to contact the seller. There is no phone number listed, so your only choice is to email the address at the top of the ad. You click on it, because it looks like a link and this strange program called "Outlook" opens.

You continue with your email and hit the good old "send" button and instead of a confirmation you end up with an error.

Has this ever happened to you?

Craig's List uses Microsoft Outlook as a default for handling email on their webpage. What is Outlook? Microsoft Outlook is an email handling software that allows you to handle everything in one place. This means that you can have your AOL, Yahoo and Gmail all go to the same place in one big in box.

When Outlook is configured correctly, emailing Craig's List ads is a snap! You click on the blue email link inside the listing and it automatically opens your Outlook mail server.

For those of you who do not wish to install, configure and use Outlook - you can still use your regular email to answer ads on Craig's list. It just takes a little more work.

If you would like to email ads on Craig's List without using Microsoft Outlook, follow the instructions below:

Open Craig's List on the internet and minimize the screen

Open another window on the internet and sign into your email account

Go back to the Craig's List window and find an ad your interested in emailing

Highlight the email address at the top of the ad by clicking the button on your mouse and dragging across until all of the address is covered

With the address highlighted, right click on your mouse and choose "copy"

Minimize the window and pick up your email account which is open at the bottom of your screen.

Proceed to composing an email like you normally would.

In the address window, right click again with your mouse and choose paste

This pastes the address from the seller on Craig's List into your email program.

Write your email and send just like normal.

Fill out the required form.

They also have the terms of service. You must read and agree to these before going on.
Verify your email address.
Once you have submitted the completed form, Google will generate an email to your email address.
It will have a web address that you must visit to verify that you received the email.
Log in to your new Google Account.
Use the email address and password that you selected during sign-up.
You now have access to all the Google features.
Explore your new Google account features, including email, groups and the personalized homepages.

HI.I am unable to access my yahoo mail because i cannot remember the answer to my security question.

You didnt Specified here which Mail Service you are Using.Anyway There you can See Something Similar to FORGOT BUTTON.Click on that Button and you may need to Follow Some Direction like Your alternate Email address or Information given by you as Security Question When you made Sign Up..And Some times you may need to Enter Some Securty Code shown in the Page...
Password mail will send to your alternate Email address in most cases.Or you may Ask for Reset your Password in Email Link.OR you can See Your Password instantly..

How to set new e-mail address for my outlook express default


Setting up new email accounts in Outlook Express - 10 Steps Without further ado, let us look at the steps which we need to follow for setting up an email account in Outlook Express.
Note: When you open Outlook Express for the first time, you might be asked if you want to set it as a default email client on your system. Make sure you answer in the affirmative.
  1. Start Outlook Express. Click on Tools in the menu bar and then go to Accounts

  2. This brings up the Internet Accounts pop-up window. Click on the Mail tab, to bring it to the front if it is not already so. If you are starting Outlook Express for the first time, there would not be any email accounts listed on this window.

  3. To add a new mail account, click on the Add button and then on Mail as shown in the image below.

  4. This brings up the Internet Connection Wizard pop-up window. Enter your name in the Display Name field and click on the Next button.

  6. In the next window, you need to feed in three important bits of information - the incoming and outgoing email servers and the type of the incoming email server.
    It is likely that the incoming email server is POP3. The incoming and outgoing email servers can be yourdomain.com, mail.yourdomain.com or any other value depending on how the email server has been configured.
    If you are a beginner, you might not know what the incoming and outgoing servers mean. It is not important at this stage to know the meaning; you simply need to know their values. Call up your I.S.P. and ask them to provide the information.
    I know that the email accounts at my domain www.BiotechDesk.com are all POP3. Additionally, the incoming and outgoing email servers are the same - biotechdesk.com.

  7. The last information that you need to enter to complete the setup of the new account is the username and password for that email account. These login details would have been given to you by your ISP or you would have set these online using a control panel.
    After completing the fields for Account Name and Password, click on the Next button.

    When you have composed your email, click on the File - Send Message. The email will be sent and a copy stored in the Sent Items folder.
You can create several email accounts in Outlook Express. So if you have 6 email accounts on your web site, you can set up all these.
As I mentioned in point #9 (above), Outlook Express will refer to an email account by its server name. So if you have several email accounts on your domain, they would be referred to as yourdomain.com(1), yourdomain.com(2) etc. (or something similar). To make this more user friendly, Outlook Express gives you the option of changing these values.
Open the Internet Accounts pop-up once again by clicking on Tools and then Accounts. Make sure the Mail tab is in the front. Double-click on the account name. This brings up the Properties window of that account. Enter any descriptive name in the first field, as shown in the image below.
