Question about Saeco Primea Cappuccino Touch Plus Coffee Maker
Hi! Please help! Our Saeco Primea coffee machin is stuck on the "boiler filling" mode and we cannot get it to make any type of coffee, cappucino, etc. The display has 2 lines: line 1--flashes between "push OK" and "to start," and line 2--"boiler filling" (which stays on constant).
--When OK or the center "cup" symbol is pushed, "in progress" is displayed and the machine attempt to work and make noise.
--Then a little later, "cycle interrupted" appears.
--Then the message goes back to the original message of flashing between "push OK" and "to start," and "boiler filling."
--All this time, the cup warming plate gets very hot.
--I've tried unpluging the Saeco overnight, resetting to the original factory setting, and checked all water levels, and dump all used water and ground coffee.
--I was able to go to the "Menu" in this "boiler filling" mode and ran a "milk rinsing cycle" and had hot water running through the "double coffee" nozzles (not single "hot water" for tea nozzle on the left) without problems.
Please tell me how to get out of this "boiler filling" mode. Thank you so much! Tom.
Hello, I had the same problem, therefore the machine has gone to a repair centre. The problem is caused by a mechanical switch in the machine, that doesn't work properly. To repair it you've to open the machine completely, but that’s not easy. Because there is nothing broken you’ll should have warranty because it is a production failure. The solution in my case was to heat up the switch and push it a little together so that the contact works properly. It is the switch that you hear when you turn on the machine.

My machine had the exact same problem, but when I brought it to the service center, the guy told me it was not the switch. He said it just had to be cleaned, which he did in about 15 mins and then it worked fine. He said to try not to use oily beans, because if they are too oily, it will clog the machine, and that's why he had to clean it. Hope this helps.
