I have router change password

The default PW = blank (just press Enter) You can now change the default password.

no problem if you lost the installion Cd

Step 1: Contact belkin customer support 18002235546 and select IVR option 5 4 2....they will give You a free cd

Step 2: Or contact belkin technical support 18002235546 and they will assist in installing the router witout the cd

and download setup cd you will need it to setup the router properly

hi you cant , the only thing you can do is reset it, and start again, press the reset button on the back for 10 seconds till all the lights turn red, then release button and that will reset to factory settings...the password to get into it is normally "password" and user will be "admin" (do not use quote marks ) hope this helps

As you are unable to access the web interface of the device your only option is to perform a factory reset of the router using the reset switch built into it as per link below:-

Read page 14 from the users manual to reset the custom password & other settings.

Losing the Belkin setup cd or software disc is one the most common problem. The best part is that you can install belkin router without cd disc. This process is called belkin web setup. Follow the steps below:
1.Open browser in your pc and type 192.168.1.1 an dhit enter.
2.Insert username and password given on the bottom of the Belkin router then login.
3.Go to Internet settings and choose your internet connection type.
4.Enter internet information given by your internet service provider.
5.Now go to Wireless and Settings.
6.Type SSID name as your wifi name and passphrase as your password.
7.Click on Save settings and restart your Bekin router.
8.Connect with your new SSID and password.
