Can you open it up? Look for a burned fuse. If you have a voltmeter check for continuity across the poles

KA-994 Model Right speaker channel not working. How do I fix it?

Hello
Check the speaker of the right side first for damage. Connect it to left side and listen whether it works or not. If it works with left side, make sure that the audio output section circuit to the left side inside your amp has damaged and should be replaced. If the speker does not works with connecting it to the right side, make sure that the speaker has damaged. OK.

The / * - + . keys on right side of keyboard are not working. The number keys are working - but the math functions are not

You can solve it if you have a basic knowledge in Electronics... Open the keyboard and simply trace and test via tester, the circuit of the keys that are not working and should be able to patch it to make the connection.

If not knowledgeable in electronics... well, you should buy a new one instead.

Good luck.

Hello, can someone help me, i want to know how to connect the wires if i want to use 2 channel instead of 4. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You would want to bridge 2 of the left channels and 2 of the right channels, essentially combining the power output of the amp.

This article should help you out:
http://knowledge.sonicelectronix.com/car-audio-and-video/car-amplifiers/how-to-bridge-an-amplifier.html

Essentially you will just be using 2 channels (left, right) instead of 4 (front left, front right, rear left, rear right) essentially combining the power of those outputs. You'll want to check the amp to see if it tells you which of the outputs should be used for the "bridged" method.

How to I make it run at 2 channels, 2ohm per channel to get the 250 watts per channel?

If you are looking at the termianl side of the amplifier...you have on the left hand side a plus and minus, this will be the left speaker........the next terminals are the line in from thr radio head unit (RCA), then plus and minus for the right hand speaker. This is the basic setup for a 2ohm , 250W RMS output......please make sure to attach plus and minus to plus an minus on the speaker and not get them mixed around.....you WILL notice the difference

Hi could you tell me ,where can i buy the ROCKFORD FOSGATE parts?

Most electronic parts can be obtained from:

DigiKey.com

Mouser.com

Allied electronics (search for them in google)

Newark electronics (search for them in google)

Realize that SOME manufacturers hide the true part number with so called "house numbers" to mask their design.

Some numbers require educated knowledge to decipher. FOr instance, some transistors you might find might be marked as:

C4065 (Ficticious) this likely would be a 2SC4065... sometimes the 2S is left off...

Hint, when repairing damage, often you MUST use a current limiited power supply to avoid burning out new parts due to one bad one still in the unit.

Only get sound out of right side both a and b

Good day sir, Hi, your Philips receiver trouble can be any of the ff:
  1. your receiver left fuse is blown, check if it has a user fuse at the back. or
  2. your main IC amplifier for the left channel is bad. you need to replace that IC, but check first the wiring of the speakers.
  3. Check your receiver left speakers if it is producing a soft hum, to do this turn down the right channel, or adjusting the balance knob to the left, or simply remove the speaker connection of the right channel. place your ears on the left speaker as you adjust the volume up and down, do you hear a soft hum that goes up and down also? If yes the problem is on the source section before main amplification, usually the pre-amplifier stage, If you hear no hum at all. problem with the main left amplifier. The main amplifier is usually a single IC for both left and right channel, OR one IC amplifier for the left and one for the right, in both cases, replace the bad IC.

Hitachi 53UWX10BA HDTV with convergence problem for blue

No there are no quick fix options for this fault. The convergence amplifiers operate similar to a high power audio amplifier, so if there is an impairment anywhere in the system, it will result in distorted audio, or in the case of television convergence amplifiers, a color won't align. The convergence power pacs need to be replaced and the out of tolerance precision resistors located near the power pacs need to be carefully checked and replaced as necessary.

It is also possible that there are root faults that cause the amplifiers to go bad which include bad connections or a bad digital control module. This repair is possible for anyone having basic electronics knowledge and soldering skills.

Unable to align red crosshairs in horizontal range

No there are no quick fix options for this fault. The convergence amplifiers operate similar to a high power audio amplifier, so if there is an impairment anywhere in the system, it will result in distorted audio, or in the case of television convergence amplifiers, one or more colors won't align. The convergence power pacs need to be replaced and the out of tolerance precision resistors located near the power pacs need to be carefully checked and replaced as necessary. And the power supply fuse links to the power pacs checked and replaced as needed.

It is also possible that there are root faults that cause the amplifiers to go bad which include bad connections or a bad digital control module. This repair is possible for anyone having basic electronics knowledge and soldering skills. After the above repairs are performed it may be necessary to perform the static convergence realignment procedure using the outer cross hairs as you mentioned, and realigning them.
