Re: amplifier

Can you open it up? Look for a burned fuse. If you have a voltmeter check for continuity across the poles

Right outlet not working

If a single output has failed then it could be the preamplifier or amplifier on that side which has failed. It could be the stereo left/right knob that has a broken track. None of these electronic problems can you fix yourself (Unless your into electronics I guess).

Simple things first. I'd do a substitution test and swap the speakers around. Does it still fail on that side? If it switched to the other side the speaker is faulty.

Do the same with the cables. Substitution tests wont fix the problem but it will tell you which component the problem lies with.

I have a set of logitech X-530 speaker for my computer with windows home 7, i have had the front left and front right speaker working properly, however now i cannot get any sound from any of the...

Try to disconnect the input connector of your speaker and touch the input jack of the unit if you hear a hazing sound it means your speakers are working properly but if you don't hear any sound your speakers are bad. Open the speaker unit and check the amplifier section of your unit. If you don't see any burned electronic component inside. Check the wiring of your unit.
To check if the audio of your computer is working. Plug in the input a headset if you hear a sound while you playing a music in your computer it means the audio of your computer is working good.

No sound

1. check the power, is the LED indicator light when you turn on the power?
2. assuming the power is ok, unplug the phone plug from the computer, plug it to an ipod or any mp3 player's phone jack, still no sound? here are the possible causes:
a) broken internal copper conductor from the phone plug, b) busted amplifier chip
if you have basic electronics knowledge, these multimedia speakers are easy to repair, otherwise replace the whole unit. ;-)

Find the value of the variable ''x'' 6x+6=4x+12

Since 4x contains the variable to solve for, move it to the left-hand side of the equation by subtracting 4x from both sides.
Since 6x and -4x are like terms, add -4x to 6x to get 2x.
Since 6 does not contain the variable to solve for, move it to the right-hand side of the equation by subtracting 6 from both sides.
Add 12 to -6 to get 6.
Divide each term in the equation by 2.
Simplify the left-hand side of the equation by canceling the common factors.
Simplify the right-hand side of the equation by simplifying each term.

Good Luck

Labtec LCS-2424 speakers: left speaker stopped working

I have the same problem sir, only the speaker with volume
control works. Earlier I used to twist the volume control this
way and that way to get the sound from the other speaker also.
Now the same technique doesn't work anymore.

Z-2200, Left Channel Stopped Working

The exact same thing has happened to me,, the left channel just stopped working. I am in process of changing the audio amplifier chip for the left channel a TDA 7296. Its a fairly inexpensive gamble at less then 5 bucks for the chip. It is fairly complicated amplifier chip with a built in mute, standby and thermal shutdown protection features in the chip so it is possible any of that has gone haywire the chip would not output properly if so. Also found on the same channel a small choke a three turn coil that was dislodged when they added silicon to the board and it pulled the choke lead right off the board. I would presume this alone would not be the problem but could have lead to the amplifier going bad if it truly is.
Evertyhing else on the main board seems to test well and nothing is standing out as a problem. Rollin the dice. Waiting for a chip in the mail,,, time will tell.

I think i uninstalled my audio device and know i have no sound

Go to "Start", "Control Panel", Administrative Tools, Computer Management, click on "Device Manager" on the left hand side and look on the right hand side. See if you have a yellow exclamation next to the "Sounds, Video and Game Controllers". If yes, double-click on the line with the exclamation and then click on the driver tab at the top. Click update driver and when it asks if you would like to to check the internet for updated drivers, tell it yes, this time only and continue. After this process, it should either download and install a new driver for your sound card or install the one that was shipped with your computer. If this does not work, please let me know and we will check the next possible problem.

Please remember to rate this solution.
